The plot is located in the North Table Mt. Ecological Reserve on the northern half of the mesa. The plot is approximately in the center of the northern portion of the reserve, S of the northern canyon and N of the "middle" canyon. The stand is dominated by Plagiobothrys sp., with some Lupinus nanus, Erodium botrys, and introduced grasses.; The site is actively grazed by cattle. The site is in an ecological reserve that is managed for botanical resources.
